Q.

7 month old got cut

Hi,

My baby got cut yesterday with an open tuna can on his middle finger, i managed to stop the bleeding, the cut is not deep enought to require stitches, however someone has suggested that he needs to go for a Tetanis injection. Is this necessary?

Thanks

Your baby has been immunised against tetanus with his first 3 immunisations at 2, 3 and 4 months. So it is not necessary for him to have a tetanus injection again.
