7 month old baby does not want to drink formula

Dear Dr,

My 7 month old baby was admitted to hospital with tonsillitis two weeks ago. He is well now, however, I changed his formula from Nan2 to Isomil due to diarrhea after his sickness. He drank this without having problems. I have subsequently bought Infacare Soy2, Lactogen2 and Nan2 again. He refuses to drink any of these now. He eats well, three meals a day. I give him rooibos in between. He even struggles to drink that now.

Thanking you in advance.

At this age your baby's main source of nutrition is his formula.Your baby seems to be quite happy to drink the soya formula. You should put him back onto the Isomil2 formula. He would also benefit from having a probiotic for 10 days after his recent illness. Reuterina Infant drops 5 drops daily for 10 days should help him.
