Q.

6 month old &  rash

Dear Doc

my six month old has a rash underneath his chin and on the lower part of his cheeks, he had been drooling a lot the past few weeks but the drooling has gotten better bt the rash is getting worse, it looks reddish now and inflamed.
A pharmacist said its due to teething and that i should use bepanthen and his paed said i should use vaseline on him just t o create a barrier but at that time it wasn''t as worse as it is now.

Isn''t there a cream that i can use on him ?
Secondly, we use parraffin heater at home is this harmful to him his nose has been snorty for about a month now and i use illiadin and saline drops but thye don''r work.

third and lasty, is it wise to get him awalking ring at this age?

The rash you mention on your son's chin is due to his drooling and he has developed a candida infection in this area. Apply Nystatin Cream twice a day to this rash.Paraffin heatere can cause irritation of the membranes lining your baby's nose. Use saline nose drops to clear his nose. Salex nose drops twice a day should help him.
Do not get him a walking ring .
