Q.

6 Month 3 week old

Hello Doc, I wonder if you could help as I am a bit concerned. Is it normal for a 6 month old to have such a temper. My little girl has a terrible temper and will moan and scream and squeeze her fists together and go red in the face. Is this normal? Could there be something wrong? Should I be taking her for a check up at 6 months? I look forward to your response. Thanks

I don't think that your baby has a bad temper. Something is worrying her and either causing her pain or discomfort. At 6 months the most likely cause is teething as her front two lower teeth should appear soon.Other possible causes are reflux or constipation. If she is not constipated then the two other causes are the main possibilities.
