Q.

5 mth old has gastro

My baby of 5 months was diagnosed with gastro. I was told to not give her any milk formula but apple juice mixed with the medicine that was prescribed. She refuses to drink this. She will not drink water as well. Can I mix the medicine in her milk? Will it be harmful if she carries on drinking her milk?
The doctor checked her and confirmed that she was not dehydrated.

If your baby is not dehydrated keep her on her milk and offer her extra sips of Rehidrat solution in between. This is to replace the salts she is losing through her diarrhoea.
