MY 5 MONTH OLD HAS BEAUTIFULL CURLY HAIR. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IT GETS VERY KNOTTED AT THE BACK OF HER HEAD (SHE LIES ON HER BACK MOST OF THE TIME). IT IS SO BADLY KNOTTED IT LOOKS LIKE DREADLOCKS. HOW CAN I GET THESE KNOTS OUT WITHOUT HURTING HER. WHAT CAN I DO TO PREVENT FUTHER KNOTS.

Look in the hairproducts and/or baby section at dischem. There are various products for knots and to entangle the hair (I think one is from Kair antifrizz/entangle). You can also try conditioner.
