This is a strange story because the NAN formula does not seem to affect him, so lactose intolerance is unlikely. Is it possible that your baby is reacting to something in your breast milk such a s tiny traces of foods that are known to cause symptoms like this such as caffeine (in coffee), nuts, eggs and possibly wheat. Try avoiding these foods while breast feeding and see if it makes any difference to your baby.
