Q.

4yr old piles

Hi there. My little girl is 4yrs old and is suffereing terrible from pain around her anal area. she says it burns and stings. she doesnt want to make a number 2 as she said its 2 sore so she jumps up and down everytime it burns. I am using anusol on her but it still hasnt come right. At school they sit on a mat but next to the wall there is an open space where the mat doesnt fit so the kids sit with their bottoms on the cold floor and legs on the mat. This is the only thing I can think of that can cause this. If you know of anything else I can do please let me know... the anusol isnt really solving the problem.

Thank you.

Children of this age seldom if ever have piles. The most likely cause is a worm infestation due to pinworms. Give your daughter one dose of Vermox syrup 5ml and see if she stops complaining about this pain after a day or two.If she still complains then she must be seen by a doctor.
