My daughter of 4 is always complaining that her private parts is itching and sore, I''ve changed her under ware, teaching her to wipe herself and even stop using bubble bath. After I washed her and put some plain vaseline on then she is fine.

Should I change the soap that I wash her with. or take her to a pediatrician.

You have done the right things so far but your daughter is still complaining about an itch. She may have a candida infection especially if she has had an antibiotic recently. Give her a probiotic for 10 days such as Probiflora and give her Nystatin oral solution 1ml by mouth 4 times a day for 5 days. Apply Nystatin cream to her vagina and the surrounding area twice daily. She must only wear cotton undies. Do not use softeners when washing her clothing. Use only a good quality soap such as Dove when bathing her.
