Q.

4 year with allergy symptoms

4 year old, all allergy tests are negative, get a runny and blocked nose for nothing. What is non-allergy rhinitis? Can it be something like it?

Non-allergic rhinitis stringly resembles the allergic kind of rhinitis with sneezing, watery discharge from the nose and even itching of the nose. However the allergy tests are negative. The usual medicines used to treat allergic rhinitis are not as effective for non-allergic rhinitis but are still usually advised. It is worthwhile trying a medicine called Singulair which is usually used for asthma but has been shown to have good effects in treating non-allergic rhinitis.
