4 year old with rash and stomach pain

Good day dr. My little girl is 4 years. She was diagnosed with tonsilitis 1/3/2012 and received Zinnat. A week later she still complained. Went again and dr said that it hasn''t cleared. HE prescribed Zitromax. The whole of friday she complained about stomach ache especially in the morning and about a sore mouth. On friday she had a fever and I took her to the dr again. Tonsils was still swollen and red. Dr did blood test and result came back that it was not bacterial but viral. Fever stayed 39-40. Came down when given Panado but after 4 hours it was back. She have swollen glands on the one side under her ear that is very big. Last night she had a rash all over her body. She says it ithces. Dr also said that according to the blood she is very allergic. She is ussally very healthy. can the stomach ache be due to the tonsils? Should I have them removed? What can the rash be? Measles? How do I determine the allergy? We don''t have any allergies in our family.

It sounds as if your daughter has an illness called Henoch-Sconlein Purpura. Her symptoms strongly suggest that this is the diagnosis. She should be seen by a paediatrician as soon as possible as sometimes children with this illness can develop a complication affecting the kidneys.
