Dear Dr
On sat my 4 year old son tummy was so swollen , it looked like he was pregnant , he did not have pain , no vomitting and no passing of stool, the dr said its constipation and gas and prescribed pegicoll sachets( I THINK thats the name its in a white packet( it msut be taken in 60ml water daily )
problem is he does not want to drink it , can i dilute it in his milk nido 3 , but that is 140ml at a time
will it still work , Is there any reason to be concerned about this tummy so swollen it was hard and looked abnormal it has gone down since BUT he has not passed a proper stool yet, Must mention he always suffers from constipation BUT USES dulpalac in the milk , But his tummy never ever swells up

If your son is taking Duphalac every day it is unusual that he is so constipated. Duphalac is an excellent treatment for children with constipation. You mention that his stomach was so swollen that it was hard. It is possible that your son is severely constipated and he may well require a fleet enema to relieve his constipation. Pegicol is unlikely to help him at this stage. It would be best to ask his paediatrician to see him.

Wile E. Obama will catch that pesky Health Care Reform one of these days. Democrats dodge and evade the letter and ietnnt of the Constitution at every opportunity in an attempt to achieve political ends by connivance. And they are not ashamed in the least even when the American people expressly tell them to stand down. This behavior is all Americans need see to judge that these Congressmenï » ¿  have violated their oaths of office. They are unfit to serve. A national shame and disgrace.
