Q.

4 months old runny tummy

hi there.
my baby had a runny tummy for a week and then the doc gave her these little pakets that you must mix with water to drink. then she was fine for 1 week. then she was badly constipated and went streight back to a runny tummy. her tummy goes about 10 times a day and it has a very very bad smell(sour almost). she is 4 months old, no fever.she cries the whole day long and does not sleep during the day. at night she does sleep from about 8pm to 6am. she is still drinking her NAN like normal.
i just dont know what to do anymore? any advice?

Your bay has probably developed a temporay lactose intolerance as a result of the infection that caused the diarrhoea. Stop her NAN and give her a soya formula such as Isomil.
