4 month old refusing to drink milk

My son is 4 months old and at his last immunisation, his weight was 6.1kg. It''s been 3 weeks now that he refuses to drink milk especially during the day. Last week i took him to a doctor and they checked everything and all was fine. He had no ear infection or flu, nothing but I was told maybe it will pass. the situation is still the same and I am worried. He stopped breast milk at about 2 and a half months old and now the milk. I am really concerned. Kindly advice on what to do or even give him.

The average weight for a baby boy of 4 months is 6.8kg, so your baby son's weight of 6.1kg is below his expected weight. He refuses to take his formula but at his age it is essential that he drinks milk which is his main source of nutrition. You should try him on various formulas to try to find one that he will take. Start off with NAN Pelargon which many baby's like because of its 'yoghurt' taste. If he won't take the NAN Pelargon then try Lactogen1. You can also start him on solids now beginning with small amounts of a rice cereal twice a day.
