4 month old problems

My daughter was hospitalised last Thursday for bronchopneumonia. She was discharged on Sunday. Before hospital, she would sleep all night and only wake at about 3:30 for a feed. The doc gave singulair and seretide and orelox and zithromax to take home. The zithromax is finished. She is still on the others. She now wakes up every 40-45 minutes crying and I dont know why. I have now stopped the seretide and singulair (today) but she is still the same. Has hospital traumatised her or is there something else that is upsetting her?

It is possible that your daughter's admission to hospital has unsettled her,but the medicines she was on could well have played a part as well. Stop the Singulair and Serevent and she may improve.Give her a few days to settle down and make sure that her nose is clear. If her nose is blocked use Salex nose drops twice daily.

If you didn''t stay with her in the hospital she may well be feeling upset and frightened about having been apart from you in an unfamiliar place.
Also, when you are sick, you generally don''t sleep that well and keep waking up because you feel awful, I''m sure babies are the same.
