Morning Doctor

Thank you for all your help in the past.

My daughter was at the paediatrician last week with a blocked nose. She was also very miserable. She is 4 months old and weighs 6.5kg.
He couldnt find anything specific wrong with her and told me to just keep her nose clear with saline, which I have been doing. Now it seems she''s started to cough. Not all the time, but when she does it sounds bad. She is also fussing at the bottle and doesnt really want to drink. I have to basically force her to drink and then she will take the bottle. She is spitting a lot and has her hands in her mouth constantly. I have started rubbing her bottom gum and she seems to enjoy this. Could she be teething?
I have Deselex at home for my 2 year old son, can I give some to my daughter and how much? Is there anything else I can do for her?

You are very welcome.Your little baby has definitely started with her teething. She may also be having a problem with reflux as she has started to cough and is spitting up.She would benefit from being on treatment for her reflux and you should speak to your paediatrician about this.Keep on with the saline drops for her nose.Do not give her the Deselex.
