Q.

4 month baby - tummy

My babyboy is 4 months old (actually 2 months as he was born 2 months prematurely). He drinks mainly Isomill and one bottle breastmilk a day. He has suddenly more dirty nappies since last Thursday. Where it was usually maybe 1 dirty nappy a day, every second diaper is now soiled, and a bit more looser than usual.

He doesn' t have a fever, doesn' t vomit and drinks all his milk. Must I be worried and give him something, or is about 4 dirty nappies a day (the rest is just wet) normal?

Your baby may be developing an allergy or intolerance to the Isomil. It would be worthwhile trying a low allergy formula such as NAN HA1 insted of the soya formula.
