Boys are often slower to learn about potty training than girls of the same age. Give him a complete break from any mention of potty training for 10 days. Then starrt again. Explain to him about the reward system. If he sits on the potty and try to pass a stool give him a gold star which you must stick on a chart. If he gets 3 stars in a row then he will get a reward, just a small toy or something that he likes. If he is successful in getting three stars then move up the number of stars he needs to get for his next reward;first 4 stars then 5 stars and so on. If he menages to pass a stool in the potty then make a big fuss each time and tell him that he is now getting to be a big boy.Read more about potty training on Google.
