Q.

3.6 Hemoglobin value

My son (4 years old) has Glanzmanns disease. A rear bleeding disorder. On Monday we had him at the hospital for a nosebleed and they did a full blood count. His Hb were 3.6. It was a shock to me. I just want to know what can happen when his Hb is that low. can he faint? can he die? What is the consequences?

I don't want to alarm you but your son's haemaoglobin is extremely and dangerously low. He is in danger of going into heart failure. Please consult your haematologist immediately.
