Q.

3 year old not crying tears

HI there

Our son is almost 3 now and to date he has not shed a single tear in his whole life , he also seem to have problems every now and then with his eyes going red but only for a couple of minutes at a time , but his eyes seem to be very sensitive to water ! Do you have any idea what is wrong or what needs to be done ??

You have made a good observation. There are certain eye conditions where children do not produce tears especially if the tear glands are blocked. It is necessary for your son to be seen by a paediatric ophthalmologist for an opinion.
