Q.

3 week old baby

Hi Doctor, my rbaby is 3 weeks old. For the past couple of days he has been having foul smelling green watery bowel movements. I would say about 2 full nappies a day. I am not sure that is supposed to be so runny. He is on Nan Pelargon, feeding every 4 hours but has been more wakefull and also seems to be wanting to feed more. Not sure i might be mistaking it for cramps.

Your baby is on NAN Pelargon which is a biologically acidified formula. It is most probably this formula which is causing your baby to have such watery green stools. Change him to a regular infant formula. He should do well on any of the popular infant formulas but he may be best on Lactogen 1.
