3 Week old Baby

My daughter is 3 weeks old. The first week we came home she didnt sleep at night, kept on moaning and groaning, so we took her to her paediatrician. He said she could have colic and silent reflux due to the fact she moans from about 8pm - 4am. He prescribed Bennetts colic mixture and Nan AR. He said we can give her the Nan AR at night only, if we still had too much Nan at home. We have been giving her the Bennetts to see if it is colic, and she slept very well at night. We decided to first see if it is colic before giving her the Nan AR. The last two weeks she hasnt been sleeping during the day and battles to fall asleep at night. During the day she will drink her milk, then fall asleep in my arms, as soon as I put her down to sleep she starts crying. This goes on all day and at night we only get her to sleep by about 10pm.
What could the problem be? I have started giving her the Nan AR today, but if this doesnt work, what can I give her to help. It seems more and more like she does have silent reflux as she makes gasping noises and I can sometimes hear the reflux, which doesnt come out.

She weighed 2.78 kg at birth and when we saw the paediatrician a week later she weighed 2.95kg.

It is very likely that your baby is refluxing her feeds. This causes her discomfort as the stomach acid causes the symptoms an adult would recognise as 'heartburn'. Typically reflux is aggravated by lying down and this symptom is clearly shown by your baby. The NAN AR formula should help her otherwise try Novalac AR.If she does not benefit from the AR formula she will need to be seen again by your paediatrician as she may need further treatment.

I have a boy of 4 and twins of 1yrs old
what you can try doing is put Telement drops in her bottle (5 drops) and what i did is i smear some telement drops on the dummy as well. It helps for colic. Needless to say my kids never got colic.
What my husband and i did aswell is sit your daughter on your lap hold her head steady in your fingers. Them with the other hand shack her bottom from sif\de to side and you will hear the wind that gets stuck inside her. by shacking her slightly the wind will come out. (I KNOW THIS MIGHT SOUND AND LOOK VITIOUS BUT IT DOESNT HERT THEM) It worked for me and not one of my kids had colic. I hope this helps as it did for me.
