Q.

3 month old with fingers in his mouth

Dear Doc

My 3 month old son loves to suck on his fingers. He dislikes a dummy and prefers to put usually 2 fingers in his mouth. When I takes his hands away from his mouth and put a dummy in instead, he invariable removes the dummy and his hands go straight back to his mouth.

Is this normal and " ok" ?

Thank you

This is normal for babies of this age and is just a passing stage.Your baby son may start sucking his fingers even more when he starts teething.
