3 month old chesty

Hi Doc,
My litte one is now 13 weeks old and is very chesty. She doesn''t have fever or runny nose just this wheezing chest. I am breastfeeding her and was wondering if it is perhaps something I was eating that it could be an allergy? I did get medicine to nebulise her with from our GP but it doesn''t seem to go away. Also should she be starting on tea or water now or just the breastmilk (new mom and new to breastfeeding)
Thanks in advance!

Your baby is being exclusively breast so she must not be given any tea or water now. There are several possible causes for babies to be wheezing at her age. These causes can range from reflux to other less common causes. An allergic cause is not all that likely.Your baby needs to be seen by a paediatrician preferably a paediatric pulmonologist so that the cause of her wheezing can be properly diagnosed.
