2yrs4mths old son still not talking

I''ve written in b4 regarding this, my son is still not talking just saying a few words, but he understands if we talk to him. can put on his own shoes, but still not talking (no full sentences). he has a 1.3 yr old bro. he also says a few basic words. i am worried that he will talk b4 the older brother. What i want to know is: Can having another baby so soon be blamed for his delay? or is he just slow? lots of peeps tells me that boys r usually slower. Should i be worried? Should i talk him to a therapist. or just have patients?

Delayed speech is very common especially with boys. This has nothing to do with your son's baby brother arriving. He does understand everything and does use a few words. be patient and he should start talking by himself. If he is not talking by the age of 3 years it would be best to see a speech therapist.
