Q.

2year suffers heavily from allergies

Dear Pead

My toddler suffers from allergies and she was finally diagnosed with asthma. She has been on every pump and chest steroid. The peadiatrician prescibed an anti-histamine and she also uses Duolin repsules but nothing works. Not even homeopathic medicines help. She constantly has the following: croupy cough, runny/blocked nose, her chest sounds like those of a person who' s been smoking for years and she doesn' t eat well at all. Please can you suggest an allergist in the Gauteng area?

The best person to see is Dr Marilee Kriel at the Clinton Clinic in Alberton or Dr Andre Van Niekerk at the same clinic.
