Q.

2y old &  milk

Hi, our son is 2y old. He drinks about 1litre of milk each day. He has a good appetite and he eats a lot. People tell me he should not drink such a lot of milk as it will influence his appetite, but it does not, he only gets to drink milk after he finished his meal.

In the last 6 months he has grown more than 9cm (he is now 95cm tall) and weighs about 14kg.

Can we continue with the milk or must we start giving him less milk?

Your son is indeed drinking too much milk a day. He only needs to drink 2 cups of milk a day at his age.
