2min noodles

My baby is 19 months old. She now + again eats 2min noodles for supper. Is it too much carbs for supper, before bed? Will it make her too active? Grandparents believe its a high energy meal, not good for supper.

Your little toddler can eat these noodles occasionally, but you should not add the sauce powder as this contains the additive known as MSG which may sometimes cause headache, irritability and skin rashes in children. Please make sure that your little daughter only has these noodles now and again and that she has a good balanced diet.

Pasta is a starch so its nice and filling and ideal for supper.

The pasta part of the two minute noodles is fine, but rather don''t use the sachet of flavouring that comes with the noodles. Rather cut up some left over chicken or pop in a few bits of cooked frozen corn and perhaps use some mayonaise or tomato sauce with it and perhaps pop some cheese on top to make it a nice balanced meal and far healthier. The flavouring is full of flavourants and colourants and not too healthy.
