Q.

29 month old not jumping

My 29 month old little girl is not jumping. She tries and can jump from a little step or the pavement, but can''t seem to get both her feet off the ground at the same time.

I see that jumping is something they should have achieved by 30 months and I''m a little bit concerned.

She has hit all her other milestones beautifully and I think in many ways she is quite advanced for her age (build''s six piece puzzles, excellent planning and fine motor skills).

Should I wait or take her to an OT now?

You really do not need to be concerned. Your daughter's milestones have been normal to date. She will learn to jump in her own time.
