23 mnth old appetite amongst other things

My son is 23 months old he will eat his porridge in the mornings, but refuses to eat anything else after that for luch or supper, he seems to prefer playing with his food. Our GP recommended that we give him Vi daylin to boost his appetite, but it doesn' t seem to help. He is very, very active and is of small build.
Should I take him to a specialist or something.

I answered a question very much like your one yesterday. Vidaylin will not be the answer to your son's eating problem.Obviously he is not getting enough to eat and it is not surprising that his weight is not what it should be. You can try an appetite stimulant such as Longifene syrup [speak to your pharmacist] and see if this helps him. If he does not improve he must be seen by your doctor.
