I am sorry but I do not have any information about this bitter substance. Perhaps you will get good advice about dealing with your son's difficulty in stopping his bottle feeds on our Parenting line on Health24.

At two they understand more than you think. Talk to them about them throwing the bottles away themselves. You could also just not buy new teats. Make a big issue about sippy cups and have them both choose one them self in exchange for throwing away the baby bottle?!

With my twins I changed them early over to sippy cups and never put them to sleep with a bottle. I did use the throw away approach with the pacifiers. I have to warn you, you and DH have to stay strong when they want it again, distract them emediately from the thought. It might take a week or so, but if you both stay strong they will eventually forget about it. At this stage it is only a habbit for them, and a habbit takes time to break but can be done! Good luck!
