Q.

2 week old baby with rash on face

HI my daughter is 2 weeks old and she has red pimples on both her cheeks, i wanted to know if i could use Nystacid ointment on her face or physiogel cream. will it help clear the pimples.

This is a very common temporary rash in babies which is known as milia. It is thought to be due to the effects of the mother's hormones during pregnancy.The rash should diasppear by itself without any treatment. Just wipe your baby's face gently with a wet facecloth.Do not use any soap at all.

yes the doctor is right don''t use soap, go to the pharmacy and by a big container aquas cream, use that as soap, the babies pimples will go away after using it
