Hello Dr,
My daughter who is 21 months had her 19 month vaccination (she has been very chesty so we didnt want to give it to her before). It was quite swollen and red around it for a day - is this normal?

I presume you mean that your little girl had her 18 month immunisation recently. There may be some redness and swelling at the place where the injection was given. This should not last for longer than a day or two. If it persists for longer than this and especially if it is warm and painful she should be seen by a doctor as she may have an infection at the place where where the injection was given.
