19 Month Not Eating

My son is 19mths. He hardly eats anything during the day. I am lucky if i can get him to take 2 bits of bread in the morning and the maybe he will eat some plain rice at somewhere during the rest of the day. I have tried to give him little snack that he can hold but he still wont try it. I put him on some periacten but it has not made a major difference but it does make him very drowzy. Please can you tell him how to get my son to eat more.

I really need to know about your son's weight before I can advise you regarding his poor appetite. Please weigh him and let me know what he weighs as soon as possible.

My LG of 23 months is going through the exact same thing. Only eats plain rice, does not even drink her milk. I have tried numerous snacks and fingerfoods but it does not seem to work. It has stressed me for the past few weeks. I think it is a phase they go through.
