Q.

15 MONTH OLD CONSTIPATED

DEAR DR THANK YOU YOU PREVIOUSLY ADVISED ME TO USE DULHALAC SYRUP 5ML TWICE A DAY SHOULD I GIVE IT TO HIM EVERYDAY BECAUSE HE STRUGGLES EVERYDAY SO HE NEEDS SOMETHING TO HELP HIM DAILY
IS THIS SAFE TO TAKE DAILY
IF NOT WHAT ELSE CAN I GIVE HIM HE REFUSES TO EAT I TRIED ALL THE DIFFERENT MILKS
HE DOES NOT WANT FRUIT PRUNES OR JUICE

Duphalac is very safe but try and reduce the dose to once daily and only increase it if your your baby becomes constipated again.Try and give him cerals containing fibre and lots of fluids.He will benefit from drinking fruit juice at least once daily.
