15 month old and cheese

Hello again doc!
My 15 month old seems to vomit when eating melted cheese.
We noticed it a while ago and have not given it to him since.
But on saturday evening he had one of those chicken viannas with cheese in, and he vomited saturday night!
He is fine with normal cheese, and cheesespread.

Is this a type of allergy, or is melted cheese just to oily?
And was just curious if there are other foods that we must be careful of?

It is unusual that your baby can eat normal cheese but vomits only the meleted cheese. Cheese allergy is well known and is usually an allergy to the casein which is one of several proteins in milk. It is also well recognised that for some reason certain people react more to melted cheese than to the regular cheese. The reason for this is not known.

I don''t think it is really the texture, as he does not vomit immediatly, but only some time later on....
But, thanks for the thought!

Could it not be that the melted cheese is too stringy? My daughter loves cheese, but when she eats a toasted sandwhich, she gags a lot cause she doesn''t chew her food properly, but the cheese is very stringy cause it''s melted, and she struggles to swallow it.
