It is possible that your baby son has a parasite infection called giardia. This is common in young children especially where children play in sandpits at school and in parks. It would be worth asking your doctor to prescribe a medicine for him that will cure this problem. This medicine is called Flagyl syrup and the dose for your son is 100mg given 3 times a day for 5 days.
