Many children of this age are not all that keen on eating solids. If they do have solids the food should be mashed very finely or pureed.Don't let his mealtimes become an issue. He is old enough to sit in his high chair at the table with the family for meals. He will watch you eat and will slowly start tryng to eat more and more solid foods. Be patient and do not try to force him to eat anything. He will simply vomit the food if you try to do this.If he is gaining weight do not be too concerend about him. Continue on his growth formula such as Nido which he can have at his age.

maybe try and cut him down on his milk
if he throws a tantrum ignore him - leave him to settle down on his own - gradually he will learn about other different liquids and solids
