Q.

13 MONTH OLD

DEAR DR MY SON IS 13 MOTHS OLD HE DOES NOT WANT TO EAT HIS GUMS AT THE BACK OF HIS MOUTH IS SWOLLEN
I USE PANSORAL BUT HE DOES NOT EVEN WANT ME TO TOUCH INSIDE IS HE TEETHING WITH HIS BACK TEETH WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE HIM EAT THANK YOU

Don't try to force him to eat as he is very uncomfortable now.Try and give him soft foods but if he won't take them do not be too concerned. As long as he drinks his milk he will be fine.He will benefit by using some Panado or Calpol syrup now for the pain.Keep on using the Pansoral gel as well.
