Q.

13 month has " gastro"  for almost a week

My 13 month old boy started vomiting last week tuesday. But only at night time after we put him in bed. On Friday he started with Diarhea. Can it still be gastro or could it be his formula? He uses NAN.

This sounds like gastro and is probably due to a viral infection. Your baby needs to be given extra sips of an electolyte solution. Use Rehidrat and mix it according to the instructions. If your baby's dairrhoea persists for more than 1 more day he must be seen by a doctor.

Hi,

My son had the same thing, he was diagnosed with Rotavirus. We had to keep a check on him to see that he did not dehydrate, he had to take in a lot of fluids, especially Rehydrate sachets.

Good luck
