Q.

11 month - Formula

Dear Paed
My little one has a respiratory infection at the moment and his Paed said that their is a 98% chance that he might have asthma. As he has had numerous viral infections this past year. We are nebulizing him every 4 hours and he is responding well. He also received a Seretide maintenance pump to take twice a day, however after each bottle he seems very chesty again (a lot of phlem, same happens with yoghurt, which I have also stopped). His granny feels that he would do better on soya milk, would it be a train smash if I change him onto soya milk (not the formula) at this stage? He weighs 11.2 kg and measures in at 75cm and is currently on Lactogen2.
Many thanks

Rather try you son on a low allergy cow's milk formula first. Try NAN HA2.
