This is difficult to answer especially your question about the safety of leaving a bottle in your baby's mouth all night. Most babies would stop sucking and the bottle would fall away from their mouths. While he seems to be able to sleep with the teat in his mouth it is probably safest to remove the bottle from his mouth once he is asleep.
