Hi Dr

My 10 month old has not been eating well for the last few days.
she has a bit of a cold. and tends to be pulling her ears. She has not poped any teeth... could she be teething? or could it be her throat? or an ear infection?

Your baby appears to have a cold. Babies and children with a blocked nose do not eat well. It is possible that she may have an ear infection as well. First try to clear her nose by using saline nose drops such as Salex at least twice a for a few days.Once her nose is clear she should eat better. This will also help her ears to drain in the normal way through the eustachian tubes. If she develops a fever or continues to pull on her ears she should be seen by a doctor.
