Your child should have the Hepatitis A vaccination at 12 months and you can decide on whether you would like him/ her to have the chicken pox vaccine.

Hi Zay

Private Clinics (Clicks, Stork' s Nest, etc.) recommend the Chicken pox &  Hepatitis A vaccines. I don' t think it is offerred at Public Health Clinics.

You can buy it over the counter &  ask you clinic sister to administer it. I paid about R230 for the Chicken pox vac &  R140 for the Hep A vac.

Speak to your local pharmacy - they are very helpful.

Good Luck
