Q.

1 YEAR OLD DOESNT WALK / TALK

MY DAUGHTER IS NOW 1 YR. SHE RECOGNISES AND POINTS AT US AS MOM N DAD , BUT DOESN' T CALL OUT TO US, BUT MUMMBLES FROM TIME TO TIME EITHER MAMA OR DADA. SHE IS HOWEVER VERY ACTIVE AND RESPONSIVE.
SHE STARTED CRAWLING AT 7MONTHS, AND IS STILL NOT WALKING. IS SHE SLOW IN HER DEVELOPMENT ?
I ALSO NEED TO CHANGE HER MILK TO NIDO - IS NIDO SAFE NOW - I AM REFERRING TO THE MELAMINE SCARE. IF NOT NIDO - WOT IS SAFE TO PUT HER ON ?

There is no need to be concerned about your little daughter. Most children only start walking at around 13 or 14 months. She should start putting short sentences together only from about 15 months onwards.
Nido is safe. Alternatives are regular full cream milk or Parmalat First Growth milk.
