This is a difficult question to answer without being able to see your baby.It is possible that your baby caught the same infection as you have got. This may be a virus infection such as an illness called bronchiolitis which is very common in winter. Bronchiolitis can take up to 6 weeks to clear up. On the other hand it may be more serious. Are the doctors sure that you do not have TB for example?I know that you have already seen 3 doctors but you still do not have a proper diagnosis of the cause of your baby's cough. Your baby should be seen by a paediatrician. If you do not have medical aid then he can be seen at your nearest state hospital with a paediatric department.
