Symptoms
- A painful inner elbow, especially when you grip something hard
- Weakness in the wrist
What can be done about it?
- Apply ice for twenty-minute periods, six times a day for up to two days
- Apply heat after two days
- Rest
- Make use of an elbow brace or supportive bandage
- See a sports injury specialist
- Apply ultrasound or laser treatment
- Take anti-inflammatories
- Sports massage
- Get a steroid injection
- Make sure that you have the correct throwing technique
- If you have a weak wrist or elbow, use a forearm brace or a heat retainer on the field until you are fully rehabilitated
