Q.

Can Dovate Cream help get rid of Keloids that are on my back and chest.

I was left with bad scaring on my back and chest from acne and it turned to Keloids. I saw a Dermatologist and was told that Keloids are difficult to treat and that they can't operate on them as they would grow back even bigger. I was prescribed a Dovate Cream and Vari-Betamethasone Cream to help flatten them up but I'm not seeing any results. Please help.

We do indeed try this cream option, but usually combine it with the injection of cortisone if the keloids fulfill some criteria. It is indeed difficult to treat and excisizing them is usually not a good option as they do tend to recur.
