Q.

Pain in jaw/teeth

I have had pain off and on for about a year now in my lower right jaw. I first thought it was my teeth but the Dentist could not see anything and it was not a continuous pain. It has in the past 3 months become very intense. I was referred to an ENT who had a CT scan done. This also does not show anything. They have put me on 2x Pain Pills 3/day and 1x Antidepressant for nerves 1x day in evening. It helps deaden the pain but it is coming more and more frequently. Up to 6 or 8 times a day. The pain is anywhere from 6 to 9/10. Is it Trigeminal Neuralgia? If so what other options are there. ENT suggested MRI and Neurologist but I cannot afford that and Medical Aid will not cover as I am on a very basic plan.
