It could very well be because of your under active thyroid. In 2012 I constantly went to the doctor complaining of a pain in my neck. Felt as if my neck and throat was sore. Not like the usual sore throat, but felt as if I was punched in the throat. The GP always told me it could be a viral infection or something silly and prescribed me antibiotics. I was also feeling rather exhausted, so he always assumed I was coming down with something. One morning I dragged myself out of bed and struggled so much to get ready for work. I was on my way to work, when I turned around and decided that I had to see what was wrong. How could I be feeling like this all the time and have this constant pain and uncomfortable feeling in my neck and throat. I went to the hospital and found a GP there. he immediately sent me to have tests done. Please go and check it out.
